(so be thankful Zaffirah, at least you're not as unproductive as us)
Although the plan was nearly canceled as none of them had their transport available (Izzah preferred carpooling) and Amelia Puspa had to bail out last minute (fever) so.. I took the liberty (uiceh..) to be the pilot for the day.
Shikin aka Atoi was in town, so I sucked her in to join the gathering.
(I was talking to her the previous night, and we did something.. er.. well.. er.. hm.. I certainly own her niece big time apology.. she shouldn't have seen me and Atoi doing that. Seriously)
I was running late and Shikin was there since 1500 hours. Apart from the usual fashionably delay, we were all extremely freaking hungry. I asked Izzah to text Shikin, just to keep her entertain. My driving was next to Michael Schumaker and, and er.. and.. any sodding fast driver combined! *pardon me* as I only thought of one thing and that one thing is Shikin.
(Gotta reach there fast or else)
Once we had arrived at the park, the car windscreen suddenly decorated with sets of fresh drops from the sky.
No..
(Zizi suggested not to panic. Think the opposite. Think the opposite! So.. not raining! Not raining!)
Such denial. Do you think it would help? Of course not. Sheesh.
And the rain poured heavier as I stepped to the pedal to reach Shikin's parking. I'm all prepared if she's going to bark at me as it was, anyway, my fault.
But she was giggling and smiling.
(Hell yeah we did something the night before, alright..)
Rain, rain and more rain. It's impossible to get to any spot to picnic but I knew one place where we could settle down and enjoy the cooling water dropping from the sky.
Only.. there was one problem.
I think I've over looked the fact that it might be raining that day. Shikin had an umbrella. But her umbrella was too small to fit us all SIX. Besides, Izzah and Zizi were the only size two. As for the rest of us, considering the height that matches the weight, we can't be squeezing ourselves in between the two dwarves or they would be smashed like mash potatoes
In the end, we improvised (a must have trait for teachers) and used the plastic green and red mat to shield us from the rain and get to the spot safe and less wet (not so much of keeping us dry)
it was raining cats and dogs and panda bears. This photo didn't do the justice.
There and then, we laid out the other mat, settle down and munch munch munch; enjoying the cooling breeze, and wet, and gossips.
MENU: Chicken nugget, tuna sandwich, chocolate cake, cekodok or jemput (flour and bananas mixed together and deep fried, like you're making a pancake, only this pancake is made into small balls, more like a tid bits) snacks and beverages (Kickapoo was one of it)

Six girls, what do you expect other than mindless rumours? We could have discussed about our concern on the abolishment of mathematics and science in English, oh wait.. we did talk about that right? Wow..
We are not that mindless after all!
(It has been confirmed that the system is reversed. Now we're back at using Bahasa Melayu to teach Mathematics and Science. )
All six in one frame and I took this once, one shot only.
(Wow, great composition Aqmaal! Nice shot!)
1800 hours, we packed and headed home. But I wasn't done from taking photos. So here are some of it

As it was raining and the traffic, and a couple of missed roads, we had to pit stop at Zizi's for prayers.

Zizi's mom served us with hot beverage and dry crackers, peerggghhhh
(or, aaahhhh hot chocolate during winter..)
You don't think I want to share, do you? You are right, I don't want to share
ps: Never too late, an entry a day.
